Poor hiring practices by Walt Disney India. Had a employee referral and faced a telephonic screening with recruiter.After a week interview with Director was scheduled .The timing of the virtual interview was 6:00am!!.Shows real unprofessionalism given the interviewer and self were in the same time zone.The interviewer seemed distracted , half asleep and absolutely uninterested!! His first question to me was whether I have any questions!! So it was self explanatory how the interview was conducted.The interviewer had no clue if my CV and was outright preoccupied .Please don't get me wrong it's not like am bitter about it but being a senior professional in my field and will go a step further that I am a combat veteran who is decorated by the President of India for gallantry ( Armed forces officer).The least I would have expected was a bit of mutual respect which sadly was missing in the entire process.A week later the recruiter completely ghosted me and sent me no replies whatsoever for my follow up mail, which is a great insult for any individual and looks bad in the Walt Disney Brand!!! My humble request to the excecutives and management is please show some mutual respect in your actions while recruiting.Mine might have been a one off case , am not sure, but doesn't sound too good if executive level individuals behave like bureaucrat babus !!
