I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Wasabi Technologies
Interview
The interview started with a phone interview from the recruiter. Extremely unprofessional, he told me I need to wow him and that he expected a presentation on why I wanted to work at the company (not even the role, I asked) and wondered how I would stand out against applicants from MIT or Harvard. I did my research on the company; the product, its values, etc. and I actually found it quite interesting and tried to convey that. He said my answer was a 4/10 (yes he rated it right after I said it). Extremely belittling and felt like he just wanted to put me down, not sure why he scheduled a phone call with me. After interviewing with FAANG companies, I know this is not the norm. Seems to speak for the culture, beware.
