I am an international student so I got an email from my current Advisor with offer to join his research program. We mainly communicated through the email before I arrived, after I got to Pullman we talked about the research possibilities and he allowed me to choose the directions I would like to go during my PhD. Overall experience about the interview is very positive and didn't feel very hard. People seem supportive and open
