I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Waste Connections (San Luis Obispo, CA) in Jan 2023
Interview
The interview was simple and straight forward. They asked about my experience with excel/ bookkeeping along with some small talk. They made it clear that upward growth isn’t always guaranteed unless you are willing to move to other locations. I decided not to go to the second interview. Not the job for me but definitely suitable for someone who doesn’t mind moving.

The process was relatively quick. There was a phone interview and an interview with the Controller. The in-person interview was at the work facility. I didn’t see much of the facility as we had the interview in an upstairs conference room near the building front entrance.
