      Sales Executive Interview

      Aug 7, 2013
      Anonymous employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Waterfall (San Francisco, CA) in May 2009

      Interview

Waterfall starts with 1 or 2 phone screens trying to gauge fit. After that, expect to interview on-site with multiple people at the company across different departments. Interviewers use this time to gauge fit, interest in mobile, interest in Waterfall and skillset for becoming a high-value sales contributor. Final round interview is with Senior Management to get the final sign-off assuming you've connected with the folks during the on-site interview.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I did a case interview that explored marketing business models using a real life example. I was expected to know how marketing worked, both digital and traditional, and how to adjust marketing strategies to make a business more successful.
