The interview process consisted of several stages, starting with a behavioral round conducted by a recruiter. This was followed by two technical interviews, one with a hiring manager and another technical round. During the technical discussions, there was an opportunity to delve into the projects I have worked on, with the conversation tailoring towards the relevance of my experience to the position I was applying for. The initial stages of the interview were organized and professional. However, my experience took a turn after completing these rounds. Post-interview, there was a significant lapse in communication from the company. Despite clearing the initial rounds, I experienced a lack of follow-up for a week or two. Upon reaching out to them, I was informed about an onsite interview opportunity, but then, unfortunately, I faced another period of unresponsiveness. Given that I had another offer in consideration, I communicated this to the company, seeking a timely response. The company was unable to provide clear communication regarding their decision-making process or next steps in a timely manner. While I understand that hiring processes can be difficult, the lack of communication and the prolonged periods of silence were unprofessional and frankly rude. It wasn't difficult to see that they weren't interested in my candidacy through their lack of communication but at that stage and after expressing my need for an answer, I'd expect as common courtesy that they'd be direct instead of keeping me on the hook waiting. In total, I had to wait about a month after my last interview to know officially I didn't get it (which at that point I knew and already had accepted my other offer). Also, some of the people on the team have the worst audio quality ever so please be prepared for that because it's very difficult to understand them sometimes.
