Interview
I spoke to the recruiter about what I was looking for in a role, my skills and background to determine where I'd fit into the organization within the marketing function. If you have your heart set on one over another, I'd suggest incorporating the job functional description into your answer. Overall the recruiter was very responsive throughout the interview process, which I really appreciated (and found to be very rare during my job search).
Then I spoke to a director of the department. A lot of the leadership are ex-McKinsey/BCG people so assume they will dive deep into your analytical thinking abilities. That went well and I moved onto the 3rd round which was a video interview with a consulting type of case component (despite the fact that this was a marketing role). The case was very difficult because you have to read graphs via your computer screen with an inability to touch it or zoom in/out. I found it very difficult to analyze different graphs on the screen without being able to highlight the information. I did not do well on the case and did not move onto the 4th round. The recruiter called me the next day to let me know and provide feedback, which I appreciated.
They are looking for highly analytical people (trained in the consulting manner) who are looking for a startup type of culture.
