I applied about a month before being asked to interview. The interview process was very informative and I felt gave a realistic depiction of your job duties. You tour the plant and then go to the corporate headquarters to watch a presentation and interview. As there were a large number of other applicants it took a while, about an hour of waiting, before I was interviewed. The interview itself was relatively short and direct (5 min) and the interviewer I had was fairly casual. We interviewed only one time, were told to fill out a background check form about a month after that, and then I was given an offer approximately a month after that. Make sure to strictly follow all the rules about filling out the application, several people did not fill out their forms correctly and had to redo them entirely. They also offer reimbursement for mileage if you have to drive a far distance to interview which is very nice.

Easy and smooth interview asked very basic questions about my background work experience and behavioral questions and wanted to know why I wanted to work for the company and why I would be a good fit

The first thing you do is tour the plant. If you don't like it, or don't think you can handle it, they let you opt out and leave before the actual interview. At the interview, they show you videos and make you fill out a paper application to keep on file. Then it's one on one. Afterwards, they said you'll either get a declination letter or an acceptance letter in the mail, so it might take a while. I had to go through 2 interviews, which were the exact same. I'm not sure why that happened.
