Overall, my experience was deeply disappointing and felt unprofessional.
The screening interview did not occur as scheduled. Instead, I received a phone call from an HR representative who appeared unprepared (the call was placed while they were driving and the audio was extremely poor due to a noisy headset). I was asked to wait for a follow-up email, but I received no clear next steps. After I followed up to confirm what to expect, there was still no meaningful response. At the two-week mark, without any updates, I withdrew from the process due to the lack of professionalism and respect.
What stood out most was the disregard for basic professionalism and candidate respect. The process felt disorganized and lacked reliable communication—something that should be fundamental in an interview experience. I was effectively left without follow-through (“ghosted”), which made the whole process feel like a debacle rather than an intentional hiring step.
I strongly recommend reviewing interview scheduling and candidate follow-up practices to ensure basic accountability and courtesy.
