I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at WebAssign (Raleigh, NC) in Aug 2011
Interview
Pretty easy, applied thru craigslist (5 years ago) got a call, went in and took a test. Got a call back very soon after and had a face to face interview with the managing editors. Then got a call back that I got the job.

Interview
Fairly quick and laid back. It was much less hassle than some other companies I've interviewed with. I don't think they did as good a job as they could have describing the position, because it is fairly unique and needs to be spelled out clearly.
