First virtual interview went well. Then they asked me to provide an aptitude test by manipulating some photos, which is fine except they’re asking you to do something with software they’re providing for you after you’re hired? Had an old version of PS and followed the very vague instructions. They sent me a dead folder link that didn’t work to submit my files. I was told I could send them as attachments but they said they couldn’t open them. At this point I felt like I was being yanked around. Finally got them to them on another file sharing website only to be told I didn’t meet their expectations. Manipulating product photos isn’t difficult. If they have a specific way they want you to do it, that should be covered in the training process. Frankly, it felt like they’d already gotten who they wanted and were just wasting my time.

I went through 3 interviews, one with the superior of the position, again with him and another employee, and finally I took a timed screen shared test that took around half an hour. He called all of my references yet was late or didn't call at all on the days/times scheduled with them. After all that they went with another person. He followed up with me weeks later saying "a position has been opened" and wanted to pick up where we left off. This was a red flag to me and I no longer was interested in working with them.
