It took about 1 week. I applied and got a call to schedule a phone interview. The woman was very nice. A few days later, a Monday, I got a call to schedule a Skype interview that Wednesday. I studied some questions and made sure everything (my attire, the space, the lighting) was right; I took it very seriously. I got the video call a few minutes late (which is normal), but it was an employee calling from the manager's account that was supposed to call me. It really threw me off, like "how do I send a thank you letter". I didn't think this was normal. He told me that the boss was in a meeting and just sent him in. Most importantly, it wasn't really a conversation. He literally just said " these are his questions," asked the questions, and wrote them down. The guy was very arrogant and went on and on about himself. It also made me a bit uncomfortable that he was just slouching and swing in the chair the whole time. I put the time in to prepare and be considerate and they just sent in someone who thinks they could've done something better with their time.
Kids, don't settle if you're not comfortable. Remember that you're grading the as much as they're grading you.
