Ridiculous interview process. There are 3 interviews you have to get through. First, they do a phone screening interview. Then you have to wait about a week or two for them to tell you if you have been selected for a 2nd interview. Then after the 2nd interview you have to wait about a week or two for them to tell you if you have made it to the 3rd interview. If I were applying to be a top executive somewhere I could understand this. However, this is an entry level customer service position. The pay is good, but this is not rocket science. It does not require this lengthy hiring process.
I had 2 interviews, but was not selected for a 3rd interview. I wasn't too surprised by this because they did not talk with me about my work experience and education. They focused on silly questions where it was clear they were trying to feel me out to see if I could be one of the cool kids at their company.
One of the complaints I see often in their employees' reviews is that they have a high turnover rate in their customer service department. Which is surprising because they pay is good for a customer service role. During this interview process it became very clear to me why they have this high turnover rate. It is because they hire people for all of the wrong reasons. They hire based solely on how well you interview and your personality. They do not hire you based on your qualifications, skills, and education. I'm sure they get lucky every now and then with hiring the right people for the position, but they probably wouldn't have such a high turnover rate if they hired based on skillset and qualifications and not just how well you can answer a silly question.
The people I interviewed with were pleasant enough, and it's not that the interview questions were hard, but interviews are supposed to be a two-way street. You interview to find out if you are a good fit for the position, but also to see if the company is a good fit for the interviewee. The types of questions asked were one-way questions. At the end of the lengthy interview with nonsense questions, I had to try to ask questions about the job itself and what it would be like to work there because they did not provide any insight into the position throughout the entire process. They might think that they have a good idea of what I would have been like as an employee, but they didn't even scratch the surface with their personality seeking questions. Overall, the questions asked were irrelevant in determining how well I could have done the job. I don't know what they are looking for in people, but if you don't get selected by this company, don't feel bad. It has nothing to do with your abilities or qualifications. It just means that you were unable to BS your way through some meaningless interview questions.
