I applied on LinkedIn and heard back pretty quickly from a recruiter. We set up a phone call, and it went well—primarily behavioral and personality questions. I was moved to round two.
I had an interview with the hiring manager and someone on the team. This process was weird because instead of the recruiter setting up the calls, the guy on the team (not the hiring manager) took over as the primary contact and salary negotiator. This interview was ok they mostly wanted to know more about technical knowledge of to translate to their systems. Moved to round three.
I went to the third round of interviews with executives, who were very disrespectful. During the whole interview, it looked like they were texting each other and smiling at things from what was on their phone.
I didn’t get the job, but honestly, after the last interview, I wouldn’t have taken it. It seemed like there was no HR, and, almost weirdly, there was a specific person they were looking for who looked and acted like the rest of the team. In retrospect they may have already had the candidate they were looking for and I wasn’t their guy but didn’t feel right to write me off before even giving me a shot.
I am sure there are many good people there, but out of all my interviews, this one sucked the most.
