Was initially hesitant to apply based on the experiences of prior interviewees for this position. A three interview process is over the top for the position level, and unnecessarily time consuming for myself, and the company, I suspect, as well. They were interviewing in November for a position that didn't start until Feb. First phone interview was with one team lead one week after I applied online. Was told it would last 20 minutes; it was 40 minutes. Questions were standard. Second interview was a video mtg via Teams with two other team leads, one week after the first interview. Was told it'd be 20 minutes, it was 35 minutes. Only one of the team leads spoke, the other took notes. Questions were standard, I was surprised with their sweatshirt attire, and the extended background images of their homes. I understand you work remotely, but I expected more professionalism for this extensive interview process. The interviewer said I would hear by next week, about a third interview, Made a point to say, "We won't ghost you or anything, we'll definitely let you know." Which was interesting, because that's exactly what they did. Did not inform me that I would not be continuing in the interview process. Nor did the 2nd interviewer reply to my email inquiring about my application status. So, I didn't get the job, but since lack of follow-up from superiors is one of my pet peeves, I'd say it worked out great, for ME anyway! I know I'm a Rock Star!
