Interview
Applied online. Recruiter reached out pretty promptly, and scheduled a phone screening. Was told they were looking for a strategic-minded individual. After phone screening, had a technical interview set up. One interviewer. Thought the interview went decently. Followed up with the recruiter several times for feedback, but was ghosted. After a month of trying to follow up, I moved on.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Webster Bank in Feb 2025
Interview
My interview process at Webster Bank began with a scheduled phone screening. After confirming my availability, the screening was rescheduled multiple times, which raised an early red flag. I invested significant effort preparing for the interview and ultimately spoke with three interviewers. While some conversations were constructive, one interviewer’s questioning became unexpectedly intense—feeling more like an interrogation than a conversation—and many of the questions seemed irrelevant to the role. Despite sending thank-you notes and being promised a response within a week, I received no follow-up communication. In a challenging job market where candidates value clear feedback, this lack of response was particularly disheartening and left me feeling undervalued.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Webster Bank (White Plains, NY) in Jul 2024
Interview
My overall experience was handled poorly and unprofessionally. HR was a nightmare to deal with and did not follow up with me for weeks. As a previous employee of Webster looking to return, I had some questions for HR on some policies that had changed since I had left. HR did not answer them directly but instead went to the hiring manager and turned my general question about the company policy into a request which was not what I asked. After I was offered and accepted the position, I gave HR my 2 previously scheduled PTO days for the remainder and was told my offer was being revoked without giving me any reason why.
