My experience with the hiring process at Webster Bank has been nothing short of a nightmare. There were red flags but the woman I would be working for seemed lovely. Multiple interviews were scheduled, but the lack of communication and organization was shockingly poor. After several cancellations, I was finally scheduled for my final interview. I joined the waiting room ahead of time and waited 15 minutes, and nobody showed up. This wasn’t the first time there were scheduling issues; The HR representative, seemed wholly incompetent and rude in handling scheduling. My second interview was also not great. It was not conversational, and the person was unprepared. She left no time for my questions, and my follow-up email went unanswered. After everything, and leaving me waiting for them to attend the last call, I was informed that they would not proceed with my application because I DID NOT SHOW.... even though I was waiting. I would not consider working for such a disorganized and mismanaged organization. If you’re looking for a professional environment, I recommend seeking opportunities elsewhere. Dodged a bullet.
