I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Weebly (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2017
Interview
Applied online back in July. Had a phone screen with the recruiter who was 1-hour late. A week later I was told the role was on pause because the hiring manager was out of the country. Got an email back a few months later, the role was reopened. Went in to meet with 4 people onsite. Everyone was nice and smart. Recruiter was too busy to walk me out. No follow up with the recruiter for a week. Then he emailed and wanted to schedule me for a 3-day work trial the following week. I asked for a debrief phone call to get feedback from interview team and I also mentioned I had yet to speak to the hiring manager which I would want to do before committing to a 3-day work trial.. He was 30 minutes late to our call... again. Video call was scheduled with hiring manager later that day which I thought went well but then radio silence. I thought the hiring process was frantic and the recruiter did a terrible job at following up on the roles status.
The recruiter and hiring manager need to communicate better. It didn't seem like they know what kind of PMs they are looking to hire. The entire process was a bit chaotic and the recruiter was extremely unprofessional. She was doing errands while on the phone asking what my salary expectation is.
