Several phone interviews and one on site. Pros: Overall, a more casual process. Natural conversation (not forced questions) focused on skills and experience. Really awesome culture and seems like they care about employees once you are in. These benefits stressed in the interview process. Room for improvement: Almost everyone I spoke with had a difficult time articulating the role. In particular, the hiring VP was not clear on expectations/business goals and could not articulate the requirements of this particular job. Other interviewers from peripheral groups (product marketing and sales) provided insight and were much more helpful in understanding the business goals. Overall, clear communication was lacking at every stage and could be improved.
