The Interview Process consisted in a Google Meetups interview paired with a three question technical assessment in a codepen board, which, according to the interviewers was not going to be weighted as good or bad or, pass/fail but rather, it was a way to assess my problem solving thinking. During the technical questions I proceeded to explain each of my answers and, towards the end, the very interviewer who was asking me the questions got confused and even though I explained to him why the constant was not properly logging what he thought it should log, the man was so narrow-minded he did not even see his own mistakes in the code he was writing, to illustrate how to shorten my response. The co interviewer changed the name of the constant in the console.log, to fix the interviewers error and, the man still thought it was Codepen rendering the value late, still did not see his own mistakes. This is a company that recently went public and, the interview process seems to have been hijacked by buffoons. Seems like I did not fit the idea of who a developer needs to look (not think) to be able to work at Weedmaps. Then again, I'm also based in Texas so, were they biased to my location? All in all, it was a pretty mediocre experience.
