Interview
I applied online and got a first interview with the recruiter within a month.
During the interview she asked a few broad questions about my experience and answered questions about the company.
Overall the interview went very well and I was invited for a second interview with the Director of Lifestyle and Field Marketing. After signing the NDA, I booked the meeting. Everything was confirmed and going smoothly.
However, on the date of the interview, the Director of Lifestyle and Field Marketing canceled the meeting 30 minutes before it was scheduled to start without notice!
I emailed them to ask if this was a mistake or if they needed to reschedule. I never received a response. No rescheduling. No explanation for the abrupt cancellation.
Sadly, this unprofessional behavior is not what I expected from a brand like WeedMaps. To ghost an active candidate without as much as a quick note as to why is more than disrespectful, it tells alot about the company's culture and how it thinks of potential employees.
Hands down, this ranks as one of the worst interview experiences I have had.

Interview
Very straight forward questions but zero follow up even if you meet all of the expectations and qualifications for the role. Not sure if they're actually looking to hire or if they're collecting applications
