Weee’s candidate experience has been the probably the worst experience I’ve gone through as a candidate. I met with the recruiter, hiring manager, and a few team members (6 hours total) and was extended a verbal offer. The recruiter let me know that I should anticipate an offer in the next week, so I waited and waited — and never received the offer. I followed up with the recruiter and she let me know that the team is working on putting together a competitive offer that met my expectations, and would follow up with me in the next week. When I reached out again, she said that the team is still working on it. Eventually, I stopped following up because I felt like Weee was giving me empty promises and leaving me to hang on a loose thread. While I do appreciate and respect the recruiter for letting me know I would get an update, I felt like my time was wasted. I would hope that Weee has not put in any other candidates in the same situation, because that is truly a very poor candidate experience.
