I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Tampa, FL) in Aug 2021
Interview
Simple STAR questions. Wells Fargo has great screeners I’ve been screened for advisor roles by many different companies and they’re definitely the toughest I’ve encountered and definitely know what to look for in your responses in comparison to other companies who’s screeners just pass you along if they think what your saying sounds good. As long as you give thorough responses to your STAR questions you’re in the clear. Also if they don’t tell you at the end that they’re moving you forward to the next step you will definitely be rejected, I’m saying this from experience. This wasn’t my first time being screened for this role so be prepared it’s not tough but it’ll definitely be more thorough than your previous screenings. Final Interview: The final interview was with the Regional director and two market directors all asking me different situational based questions, nothing that you won’t be able to answer if you’re in the industry, questions were along the lines of “Tell me about a time you handled a client need quickly and how did the client react to it” Typical STAR question another one was “How did you collaborate with a partner and what was the outcome” as mentioned nothing that you won’t be able to answer so don’t expect any left field questions they’re very basic, just make sure you have detailed responses and not short answers. Best of luck.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Tell me about a time that you solved a problem for a client and knew what product or service to offer them even before they asked.
Easy , respectfully and straightforward the team really cared about getting the right fit vs just hiring someone for a role that they may not like and possibly leave in the future
Star method used. Requires lots of detail to answer simple questions that don’t need the level of detail needed to meet the star method requirement. Interview went well, just awkward trying to elaborate on answers.

Question 1
Can’t remember specifics. All questions are star method.
Multiple interviews, First phone with recruiter, second phone with district manager then a third another with district manager and wealth manager. They already have your sale numbers from what ever bank you are coming from. It is a small world, be honest and explain your process and you will be fine.
