I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Wells Fargo
Interview
Applied in October and was offered the job 2 months later in January. Interview process was very easy. Consisted of 2 interviews. The first of which was a phone screening interview with the recruiter. The second interview was a panel interview with the head of affluent division, the branch manager and divisional manager. Was simple STAR interview questions. If you worked in financial services the questions are easy. They make this out to be a sales role but it is not. Very customer service based with little to no variable compensation.
Easy , respectfully and straightforward the team really cared about getting the right fit vs just hiring someone for a role that they may not like and possibly leave in the future
Star method used. Requires lots of detail to answer simple questions that don’t need the level of detail needed to meet the star method requirement. Interview went well, just awkward trying to elaborate on answers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can’t remember specifics. All questions are star method.
Multiple interviews, First phone with recruiter, second phone with district manager then a third another with district manager and wealth manager. They already have your sale numbers from what ever bank you are coming from. It is a small world, be honest and explain your process and you will be fine.
