I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Welocalize (Dublin, Dublin) in May 2025
Interview
First quick call with the recruiter, two follow-up tests, final call with Vendor Project Managers. The first stage is quick, there were only a few hours between being contacted and having a video call with the recruiter, but then the wait after the final interview is long. They did not supply me with a timeframe because that's apparently sensitive information... They became non-responsive after that. My interview was on a Wednesday, the following Thursday I emailed them asking for updates, the recruiter replied to me on Friday that they would let me know by Monday, but they didn't until Tuesday - so about 10 days. Afterwards, I asked for feedback, and it's been radio silence since. Not what I expected from a "professional" company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me what my favourite streaming platform was. I knew the client I was interviewing for, but I thought it was blatenly asskissing if that was my answer, not to mention untrue. They asked me again and I stuck to my original answer. Mostly the questions were admin related - if I'm ok with the unusual working hours, if I'm ok with FTC, etc.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Welocalize in Jun 2023
Interview
Super complex process with many different tests for hours. Have worked thru all the process and finally to the end, discussing about the availability. THEN they didn't get back to you for 1 month. Shot an email and they told you it was filled.
The whole process took a little over month. A couple tests were given. Tests and interviews are all in English. Several interviews in between the process. Overall good experience. Nice interviewers.
