I applied online. I interviewed at Wendy's (Oldsmar, FL) in Apr 2017
Interview
We sat down at a booth and he had a folder full of materials that he never opened. He spoke for about forty minutes about his kids and his entire life story - honestly it was the weirdest interview ever. Come to find out that it was his last week before he moved to Orlando, so I guess I got lucky? But honestly he didn't give any specific information about the job or the company until near the end when I kind of interrupted his monologue and started asking questions. He even showed me the questions he was supposed to be asking me, but said, "Eh these don't tell you much about a person, it's better to have a conversation like this!" But truthfully I barely said anything about myself! I think this is a very rare, specific case where an interview went this way.
it was good and they were nice and I wasn't sure if the pay was enough but I took the interview anyways. the guy was helpful and asked about my background and schedule and why I wanted to work there
