The HR rep emailed me (at 10 pm) and asked to call them (?) if I was still interested in the position (without specifying what the call would be about ). I called the next afternoon and they didn't pick up, so I left a message with my number. They returned my call at 5 pm and the call was just odd, to say the least. The HR rep didn't know much about the position itself, so they couldn't answer any of my questions. They seemed confused about my resume (we spent a few minutes just clarifying my last employer, which is listed on my resume...?) and I wasn't asked about the skills or experience listed on there either. Then, they asked for my salary requirement and when I stated my amount (which was standard for my degree level), they responded with a "that won't happen" which I found to be a bit rude. I've done screening interviews before, so I expected a bit more organization and clarity. Instead of getting a good idea about the position and the organization, I was left feeling confused and uneasy with the whole experience. Combine this odd experience with what I've seen on Glassdoor about the company as a whole, I won't be moving forward if I am asked to continue interviewing.
