I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Westat (Rockville, MD) in May 2011
Interview
Applied online for the position, then received a phone call to set up an interview at the Westat HQ in Rockville, MD. Met first with one person from HR, who provided me with information about the benefits available when working at Westat, and also asked a few questions about previous employment history and salary requirements. Moved on to a panel interview with six people, with one asking most of the questions. The questions were typical; they asked me to run through my resume, explain my interest in the position, why I would like to work at Westat, etc. They then gave me time to ask my own questions.
As a side note: I didn't actually know what the interview format would be like; I was not informed that it was going to be a panel interview.

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Westat (Rockville, MD) in Apr 2026
Interview
Had a phone interview with hr and met with the team very nice people. The process itself took a couple weeks to get time that lined up with our schedules
An online application, followed by a phone interview with Human Resources, and finally two panel zoom interviews. I received an offer after the second zoom interview. In addition the project I worked on required a background check and a clearance.
The phone screen interview was great and relaxed. The team interview also went well. They mainly asked about my experiences/skills. I've apparently answered most of their questions before they asked it.
