I was emailed by a recruiter to ask my availability for a phone interview. We agreed on a time and the phone interview was conducted. About a week later I was emailed asking when i could come in for an in person interview. I went in and met with one person. Immediately after our interview he said "Let me go get my manager" and then i interviewed with her. Ultimately i never heard back from them. It's an interview pet peeve of mine. Even if you decide to go with another candidate, the least you can do is notify people that you're moving in another direction. Fairly simple.
