I was doing a phone interview and the location was in Manhattan beach. The interview was going well and it seemed like I would get the job BUT when I told her what city I am from (i don’t live in the nicest area), I felt I was being judged because she kept asking would it be a issue getting to the job which it wouldn’t. She told me to ask if I can come in person and I was early to prove I’m time efficient but I feel once she saw the color of my skin I felt a energy shift. She didn’t directly tell me I wasn’t getting hired but when I checked the interview status the next day on indeed it said I was not selected for the job.
