I interviewed at Xantrion and was asked the same basic questions. If you're fairly new to IT, it would be a good idea to brush up on common ports, basic Windows networking, DNS, etc. Of course, anyone who is looking to break into IT should have a firm grasp of all of the mentioned concepts. Presumably, any experienced IT pro would be able to easily answer the screening questions asked by H.R.
