I basically said I'd be onboarding and learning the ins and outs of the company and the team. Interviewer pushed back and asked what project I'd work on first. I said I'd come up with a strategic communications plan. Interviewer said, what would that look like? I said, I can't answer that without knowing what you're doing now and what your goals are!
