Interview
This interview process was the most interesting and thought-provoking one I have given. Having moved back from the US, I was a little worried about how the interview processes would be. But that wasn't necessary at all. They keep you engaged in the process and it isn't your typical Q&A type interview. It is more of a discussion and exchanging of idea which honestly is very refreshing.
I got a call from Victor, their Talent Evangelist, who wanted to see what I actually think about Customer Success and what my background was like. He told me a lot of stuff about the company, what the work culture and my role would be like. After an hour into the conversation, I was called for an on-site interview with their panel the next day. The best part was Victor sent me great reading materials and a tutorial to try the product. I was told I would have 3-4 rounds and 1 coding assignment.
Going into their Bangalore office, I wasn't sure what to expect from them. I met Anushree and Victor who made me feel very comfortable and explained whom I will be meeting. It started off with their Account Manager who asked what my background was, my experience and hobbies. He then explained what he does in the company. Then there was a round with a CSM who went in a little deeper into the job and asked me a few technical questions on HTML, CSS.
I had a round with their Solutions Architect and the Director of Customer Success. These rounds were simple but give you a lot of insight. The Architect asked me a few technical questions to gauge what my level of understanding was and this was a very engaging round.
Final round was with the CEO, Khadim, who patiently answered all my questions and gave me good suggestions on books I could read. Very friendly and honest.
One thing I would recommend is read up about the company and go with an open mind. The interviewers are experienced and give you a different perspective on things which make you think. Throughout the process you have a chance to learn a great deal, not just about the company but about a lot of things that matter.

Interview
The hiring process is broken, and the HR team often comes across as unprofessional. They lack the basic courtesy to convey updates, instead choosing to ghost candidates after multiple rounds of calls and meetings. While it’s understandable that a candidate might not be the right fit or that budgets may change, communication and transparency remain essential.
It’s unfortunate to see the culture deteriorating and becoming tainted as the company grows.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There’s no structure to the interview process. They conduct a rigorous background check, but when it comes to offering support or providing clarity, it drops to zero — making it one of the most bizarre experiences.
The recruiter was super toxic. I had the right qualifications and was a good fit for the role but she tried to low ball me. That's not even my primary concern, at the end of the call, my self-respect was shattered, I questioned my skills and experience and I hate myself for going through the full call. Condescending tone. Whatfix is looking for AI robots for CSMs and not people who can work effectively with their customers. The TA will play 4D chess with you. You're not that great a company, feet on the ground please.

Question 1
Your experience and more importantly, why your skills mean nothing to them. Entire call was condescending.

The HR was extremely nice and helpful.
But the interviewers themselves were bad, I had a manager who in the name of stress test over extended by an hour and kept asking unreasonable and plain dumb things
