I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Whatfix (Bengaluru) in Dec 2020
Interview
The first round was an impromptu round with the hiring manager. It was a very casual and friendly conversation that motivated me to take up the writing assignment followed by the call. The most interesting part here is that the writing assignment was reviewed on a call by the hiring manager. Where else do you think you’ll get on the face feedback? This was a big surprise for technical writers like me because, nobody provides you with a feedback right in front of you.
So the next round was a technical round with the super boss. He was a very intelligent, intellectual and a composed person who took time to listen to me, patiently. He in fact, made me feel very comfortable and at ease right from the beginning. He asked me very intriguing questions about aspects of technical writing... and it went on to be a very productive and fruitful conversation.
And then the next final round was with the HR. The HR professional who reached out to me was empathetic, industrious and kept the call brief, explaining each and every benefits of joining Whatfix and she also patiently answered all my questions. She had a vibe that made me feel excited about joining Whatfix.
I got an offer with more than what I had anticipated. This was honestly one of the best interview processes I have ever attended in my career. I recommend you at least go through their interviews to see what they have got to offer you and trust me, you’ll be in a position of not being able to turn it down.
