I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Whatnot in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview process was fair, transparent and efficient! I truly enjoyed meeting every team member and felt like each interview was a valuable opportunity to share my experience, learn more about the role, the team and Whatnot overall. The questions were what I would expect for the role and covered all important areas necessary to succeed at the job! I completed a short take-home project as well, which was very reasonable and respectful of my time. I quite enjoyed it too, as it gave me the opportunity to learn important concepts of the Whatnot platform and their community guidelines, helping to better prepare me for getting maximum value out of the interview discussions! I had a great experience with the entire interview process.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Whatnot in Jan 2024
Interview
This was a 4-step process that took less than 3 weeks. The Whatnot team was amazing and very much on top of things!
Step 1: Recruiter screening to understand my experience and discuss the role, this was a brief phone conversation.
Step 2: Initial interview with a Whatnot T&S Agent in which I had the chance to ask them about the day-to-day of the role, and they asked me a few behavioral questions (30 min, via Zoom).
Step 3: I was asked to provide 3 references and was assigned a case study. This process took ~5 days, but it was a great opportunity to see what type of work one would be doing for the company. (30 minutes via Zoom)
Step 4: Second interview was with a manager at Whatnot. I was asked to speak about my experiences, strengths, and opportunities for growth. I was also given time to ask questions about Whatnot, T&S, and the role.
Overall, a great experience!
