I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at WhatsApp (Menlo Park, CA) in Jul 2017
Interview
Very long, this was my second time applying for this position. I applied 2 years ago and didn't get an offer after a very long process, then they called me back 2 years later, telling me that I had such a good feedback last time that they remembered me and wanted to let me know that there was another opening. I was very excited and happy to try again, at my surprise , I had to redo ll the text (translation, customer service, etc), then a manager called me for an interview and then I came for a face to face interview. I spent 2h answering technical and customer service questions asked by 20 years old employees. Another waste of time, when you think that they called you back because you were a good candidate and all of this to get rejected another. Thank you whatsssap for nothing, and please do not call me again!
The recruiter made the first round of questions over a telephone interview to qualify the candidate. Once the candidate was qualified, a first telephone interview was scheduled with one of the group managers. After positive feedback, a second telephone interview was scheduled with another manager.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at WhatsApp (Menlo Park, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
