Dropped off resume and answered a quick easy coding question at my university's career fair. The question was to implement a string reversal in any language. I did it in one line in python. Received an email that same day/night inviting me to interview on my university's campus with them the following day. Harder than a standard interview I thought.

Create a singly linked list in C++ that just has a header pointer. Make a function to append a node to the front of the list (and return the head of the list)? Create a function to append to the back of the list (and return the head of the list)? Implement all this without using if statements. Why do we not want to use if statements?
I was given an in person, 90 minute interview with an engineer after contacting a recruiter. After several days they replied to me and said that I was not selected for the position.

It was okay... not sure what they expect. I'm pretty sure I gave a good answer. took some time to come up with a solution - maybe that was the reason why. But i felt like in the end, I gave a solid solution.

Received a boilerplate message via LinkedIn from the Whatsapp recruiter (I am not allowed to share her/his name). I said that I am interested, but all of my messages were ignored (even after months). That's very unprofessional behavior for on-site recruiter.
