Whisper IOS Developer interview questions

Well this was the most laughable experience of my career so far. The interview wasn't really an interview - it was more like a screening to see if they liked the sound of your voice over the phone or not. I was contacted through Whitetruffle.com by one of their recruiters. She spoke to me about the company. I told her about my current situation and everything sounded great. The process took a few days. The day of the interview was "strange." Firstly, the CTO who spoke to me was about 10 minutes late to make the call. Secondly, he acted strange over the phone. I felt like I was speaking to a bro than a CTO. Every answer ended with either "cool" or "awesome" and the interview questions were odd - remotely similar to many other serious companies I've interviewed with. I got the sense that either their hiring process was completely crippled or they really didn't have the need for another iOS guy like they thought they did. We ended the call with him rushing into a response to a question I had for him, which had something to do with what kind of iOS developer are they looking for. He had a lot of trouble answering this question. If your CTO doesn't know why your company needs another member to the team, you should quit while you can, because they aren't serious about what they do. I was told I would hear from them in a day or two and I didn't. I sent the recruiter an email regarding the next steps, assuming I'd have a "real" interview. She told me that they were not interested in moving forward. Like someone pointed out earlier, they didn't give a reason. Even after a few emails asking for a reason so I could at least know why, they haven't responded. Bottom Line: If you receive something from this company, don't waste your time. Skip it and move on to the other companies who know what they want in a developer.
