      Product Manager Interview

      Sep 19, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Whisper (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2016

      Interview

Applied online; no call with recruiter; just straight to hiring manager. It would have been nice to get an understanding of the hiring process through the recruiter. They are pretty fast at hiring decisions. They turned me down for a position but a couple weeks later, I saw that the position was posted again. They seem to be one of those companies that are looking for a perfect candidate and have the job open indefinitely. Considering they aren't exactly leaders in social media, they should perhaps re-think that strategy and train hirees.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Whisper (Venice, LA) in Mar 2016

      Interview

High Level questions about the product and how to improve it.. flew me out for interview but interview process seemed less organized than I expected. They cut the interview short and mentioned this wasn't a good "fit" (whatever that means). I was happy they cut it short rather than wasting more of either parties' time. While I sensed this was not a good fit for me either, it would have been helpful if the company provided a reason as to why.
