Maybe I didn't get a call or make any progress in getting this job because I didn't disclose my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER WITH THE APPLICATION?!?! I still can't believe they asked for this. As if that wasn't bad enough, they took TEN MONTHS to send a rejection, on a job for which I was 100% qualified. Thankfully I have long been in another position with a fantastic company that I love, but good gracious, what if I were actually dependent on hearing from these people? I find it hard to believe with practices like this, people are beating down the door to get into this company.
