Applied and was contacted by HR in email to schedule interview. Scheduled interview with hiring manager and had call with HR contact to discuss benefits and the three stage interview process. It was all positive. Had first interview which was scheduled for 30 mins but lasted an hour. Reached out to HR several times to be told that they were still checking with the hiring manager on status and ended up never hearing from the HR contact again. Later checked that the position was downgraded to Business Analyst position - to later being removed as an open requisition. Felt like I wasted my time and wish someone had contacted me to at least let me know what the results were from the first interview. Even a simple email to say they were moving on would have given me closure. Very unprofessional.
