I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (San Jose, CA) in May 2012
Interview
Prescreen with store team leader and district manger, then on to a panel interview with the stores TL group. Fairly standard interview process. I was advised not to wear a tie to the panel interview, but more business casual. The panel at first was intimidating but after warming up and making them laugh things got a lot easier.

Had 2 interviews in total. 1st was a phone screen with recruiter which was fairly simple and around 20minutes. Lots of situational type questions and the interview lasted closer to 30 minutes.
STAR format questions. You can google questions to be prepared and prepare by having lots of examples. Recommend not rushing it and it's okay to think about the question for a short while.
Overall the process is good and the panel interview is not as intimidating as I thought it would be. Just practice some answers before with examples of experience.
