After a humiliating group interview a few years ago I decided to give Whole Foods another shot in hopes of a more simpler process which turned out to be far from it.
2 weeks after applying I was contacted by Workforce1 for a "interview". Arriving to the location there were many other people as well since surprise, it was another group interview, only not quite.
As the recruiter explained Whole Foods decided to use Workforce1 do a pre screening interview for the group interview, that would then result in the coveted 1 on 1 interview. Basically rather than spend 2 days interviewing as I would have done if I had been hired the 1st time, I now had to go through 3 separate interviews.
In an ironic twist the recruiter explained the next group after mine would be sent directly to a 1 on 1 interview due to "time constraints".
Hearing this I immediately lost all interest and made barely any effort to answer the 2 questions that were asked so I wouldnt waste my time in what I knew would be a terrible 2nd interview.
To my shock in the end the recruiter revealed everyone had passed to the next round even though unlike myself a large portion of the applicants struggled to give proper answers. Which showed even further how useless and unecessary Workforce1 is.
