I applied online and got a call back a week later. The person who first called me wasn't there so a different manager interviewed me over the phone. They asked a few basic questions about availability and why I wanted to work at Whole Foods. I don't have experience as a cashier or at a grocery store, so I'm sure that was part of not getting another interview.

I thought the interview was fun. I interviewed with two people and they asked various questions, like, What did I hope to get out of this job?, What do I anticipate being the most difficult part of the job? They were both super nice and I really enjoyed talking with them. Then I met with another manager and he asked a few more questions. Overall it was a great experience.

The interview process is a joke. You apply online then get an email for a personality test that has NOTHING to do with customer service and all about how you would handle situations that have nothing to do with being a cashier. After that you get bombarded with emails to follow them on social media. It makes me wonder if this was an actual application or just a marketing scheme.
