I applied online. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Westport, CT) in Apr 2015
Interview
I applied online and got an interview to meet the team leader in my department in the cafeteria. Dress nicely, make sure you research the company, and be prepared to ask good questions. My team leader signed me up for a second interview to meet the store team leader who was really nice and helpful in letting me give a 2 week notice to my other job. With the second interview, you are pretty much guaranteed the position as long as you don't go in stoned or wearing gym attire. I recommend knowing the core values, knowing who John Mackey was, and knowing some of the products at the store. Also, rehearse why you would like to work at Whole Foods compared to other grocery stores.
Ask about previous experience and how you can fit in specific department you are applying for. In my opinion they are hire just about anyone who is willing to work.
