Casual, one-on-one conversation with dept. leadership.
Just feels like an opportunity to talk to applicant and gain an understanding of why they want to work for Whole Foods.
Most of the questions were just follow ups to things she and I were discussing. I.E- I told her I was interested in eventually working in the Beer and Wine dept, because I like beer- so she asked what kinds of beers I enjoyed.
After the first interview you come back for a second interview with a member of upper-management, which is the same type of conversation. If they both approve then they call back with a job offer.
It was a pretty easy process. I applied online, and I believe I got an interview a week or 2 after. I got interviewed by the ATL and the TL, and they asked me questions about my experience.
Fairly easy. Just asked about schedule (what days you can work and if you have any vacations coming up) and if there was any prior experience. Didn’t ask very many difficult questions

VERY quick. It was a phone interview and the manager just asked "Why Whole Foods?" I had an answer prepared and he almost cut me off after my first sentence. I don't think he actually cared about my answer.
