Received an email requesting availability for a 30 minute phone interview and instructions on how to prepare. I replied within 90 minutes and was ghosted. I reached out after a week, and received another request for availability. When the hiring manager finally called, more than 20 minutes after the scheduled time, it was to tell me I had made it to the final three but they had already extended an offer to one of the other candidates. We agreed he would be in touch to let me know whether the candidate had accepted the offer, but he never did. Instead I received a form letter from their automated system saying I was no longer a candidate.
