I answered questions about my experience and goals to see if I would be a good fit for the team, regarding aspects of hospitality as well as to see if my personality would mesh well.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2018
Interview
Really basic and dress casual! Just asked about the questions down below. Just don't be too nervous and everything will be great. Nothing too big. Oh and also just be yourself and they'll most likely hire you since there pretty chill!

Interview
I was called in 2 weeks after i first applied online and brought my resume to them. I had an initial interview with the bakery manager. Boiler plate questions basically boiling down to whether I could handle the stress of impatient customers breathing down my neck. If you have been in retail before then its the same gut check of can you handle getting yelled at by our pretentious customers? The second interview with the store manager shifted focus to how I work with other team members and asking about situations where my patience was tested and I didn't loose my cool. Then more basic interview questions.
