I explained that I'd been with my company for over 5 years and was currently considering an offer for a promotion. While I was not entirely dissatisfied, I was beginning to have real concerns about some recent restructuring changes which seemed to run counter to the company's stated mission and values. Specifically, they had always put an emphasis on personal service (it's literally in our slogan ) and was making a move to cut back dramatically on staff in-store, and opting farming out a rather large chunk of our operations. Where once there were a minimum of three staff on site to help guests, the new alignment meant that many locations could only staff a single person on-site during off peak hours, and at most three during the busiest time of the day. I was passionate about our personal service and building customer relationships and was looking for a company that better suited my desires.
