I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at WillScot in Nov 2022
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter via Indeed/email about the role based on my resume there. I did not meet the basic requirements as described in the job ad, however the recruiter stated to apply anyway because they were "seeking someone who has general accounting knowledge...who is coachable and wants to learn more about tax knowledge and work." I was asked to apply online and then schedule a phone screen. The phone screen was a pointless waste of time (could have been an email) with questions like "Are you a U.S. citizen?" and It ended with him saying he'd forward my resume to the hiring manager. After the phone screen, I sent a polite email that I was no longer interested in the position because I didn't think it was a good fit for me. His email response was very rude. If that recruiter is any indication, the company culture probably sucks.
